Best restaurant I've ever been too. Seriously. The price is more than worth it, trust me. I dare to say it is a CHEAP price. Simply amazing. Chef Cristóvão, sou a maior torcedora da sua estrela Michelin a partir de hoje, ela já vem em atraso.
If you are a bit of a foodie head here on your trip to Porto. Lovely food and wine. We chose to ignore the ready set out starters (seemed to be a bit of a custom in the higher end restaurants we tried- and they are not complimentary) and chose our own. Beautiful local produce and a great evening. Knock to be let in. We booked a few days prior by calling in. Internet booking would also be a good idea.
we had tried first dinner in Porto. What a great choice. This restaurant is down by the river, small and intimate. We had what appeared to be a private room. Christopher and his staff do a fantastic job. We went for the one starter, one main and one desert option. The menu looks a little stark but when Christopher elaborates as to what each dish consists of, all becomes clear. Quality and exquisite taste all the way. The wine was superb. This is a restaurant and an owner who know how to cook, serve and satisfy their clients. An Historic meal.
Não é apenas um restaurante, mas sim um espaço onde podemos desfrutar de excelente gastronomia, confeccionada ao ínfimo pormenor, bem como um ambiente acolhedor e familiar. Para quem gosta de um momento a dois e de uma boa conversa é o melhor sítio, pois nem darão pelo tempo passar.
Não posso deixar de frisar o excelente atendimento e a extraordinária simpatia do chef.
Recomendo a 100%.

I highly and warmly recommend ODE to any person who wishes to have a time in a nice, pleasant place, with great food and a sense of home "new cuisine" Portuguese cooking.
The food is excellent and refined, its presentation on the dishes is beautiful. The restaurant itself offers a special and cosy place, discrete and class. The welcome is warm and personal. We had a great time - thank you so very much.
