Been going to Penina on an of for 30 years, great place, great golf course, great staff who are very helpful.
Henry Cotton would be so happy with what he built here and how it was the start of the golfing Algarve.
The course has issues like any other, considering from April to November we only had 4 days when it rained and then a cold winter the course was in pretty good shape today and will return to it's best within a couple of weeks.
If you have never been it's a must with some of the best holes in Portugal.

I have been staying at Penina for the past 20 years always in June and sometimes other months too..(when Im lucky enough).. It is my favourite place, the Hotel is so relaxing, I feel totally at peace there The golf is amazing a beautiful Henry Cotton course thats always immaculate and a pleasure to play.
The little curiosity bus to the beach is great as is the beach restaurant wow..., Many staff are long term and so friendly. I Cant wait until June not long now Highly recommended !!
A fantastic hotel, with a great championship course. The staff can't do enough for you. If you enjoy your golf then you need to go here for a break. Can't wait to go back again and would recommend to anyone. A really great place. �����
Great hotel and the coarse is fabulous pity about all the pitch marks and unraked bunkers,staff very helpful breakfast top notch prices a little high 10 Euros for 2 soft drinks from the buggy Bar is a bit to much. The man in the gents locker room is brilliant can't do enough for you should get a rise.
Love it. Second stay. Pool view room a must otherwise car par view. The golf is great as is the service and the Moniche Resturaunt. Steak Tornedos to die for. We want to try somewhere else next year but I'm sure we will return. Booked through Golf 360. Excellent.
We love penina and have been going twice yearly for 14 years. The golf course is always good in spite of the high numbers of players it gets. The food is good and the staff can't do enough for you they are all very friendly. It's a no brainier for our holiday choice. 👍
Luxus pur, super organisiert , tolles Essen, freundliches Personal, sauberes großes Zimmer auf „ 2 Etagen“ ruhig , Riesen Poolanlage, große Anlage . Einfach Erholung pur ! ��

Attended the St Andrews Ball as guests of my Father and Mother in law. Food was excellent, the room was lovely. Massive bed and very comfortable with a gorgeous view of the golf course. The food was extremely good and all staff courteous and helpful.
My husband and I can't wait to return.
