Been going to Penina on an of for 30 years, great place, great golf course, great staff who are very helpful. Henry Cotton would be so happy with what he built here and how it was the start of the golfing Algarve. The course has issues like any other, considering from April to November we only had 4 days when it rained and then a cold winter the course was in pretty good shape today and will return to it's best within a couple of weeks. If you have never been it's a must with some of the best holes in Portugal. Richard Woolard

I have been staying at Penina for the past 20 years always in June and sometimes other months too..(when Im lucky enough).. It is my favourite place, the Hotel is so relaxing, I feel totally at peace there The golf is amazing a beautiful Henry Cotton course thats always immaculate and a pleasure to play. The little curiosity bus to the beach is great as is the beach restaurant wow..., Many staff are long term and so friendly. I Cant wait until June not long now Highly recommended !!
