Excellent experience at Can the Can.
Ordered the bread basket with anchovy-butter, and the squid ink linguini with garlic, tomatoes and shrimp entree. Both came to the table faster than expected, and the waitress who tended to my table (Brazilian, forgot the name - sorry!) was extremely cheerful and helpful.
The anchovy-butter is delicious, with notes of lemon and lots of umami. The pasta was cooked to the right all dente point, with plenty shrimp. Also, mopping the leftover sauce on the plate with some bread from the bread basket is a must!
The wind was chilly and duvets were provided by the restaurant staff - great costumer care!
The stout beer might not have been the best choice to go with the seafood pasta (my mistake), so a good wine (many white wine options on the menu) might be the better way to go.
Overall, an excellent experience on this beautiful Saturday!
Fui ao Can the Can num contexto de lanche. É simpatico, muitíssimo bem situado e estava tudo muito bom. O chocolate quente é mesmo muito bom e a torrada estava bem servida com compota muito boa e manteiga. Ficou a vontade de voltar e experimentar pratos principais daí a classificação. Não é barato mas está enquadrado na zona em que se situa.
Localizado na praça mais bonita de Lisboa, com um atendimento magnífico e uma qualidade inigualável. Podemos desfrutar de maravilhosos pratos gourmet totalmente inovadores e feitos essencialmente com base em conservas. Recomendo!
