My friends and I had a great time here on Friday night.
We were a party of 7 & Abanilson was concerned we wouldn't enjoy the experience due to the restaurant being so small. He need not have worried - we adored this place, it was a highlight of our weekend. Yes it's small, intimate but it's worth the wait, if you don't book.
The food was fantastic, everything we tried was delicious, we had no complaints at all. Good value drinks and friendly service.
Would recommend for anyone visiting Lisbon & we will be back on our next visit.
Thanks for accommodating us.
Just the best place in Lisbon!
Good service and really good food!

It's a very small space bear a parking lot, but they serve amazing tapas! Amazing Sangria and very nice service.
This 5 table tapas restaurant is all over and goodness. They greet you warmly, speak great English for those of us from the US and the food is fresh, perfectly spiced and amazing. The decor is charming, the windows wide open with greenery and wine boxes cover the bistro bar.
Highly recommend the Chicken skewers with peanut sauce, Chorizo from hell, Honeymoon ( perfectly perfect bites), olives and the sauce that comes with the unique fries has just the right amount of garlic. Don’t miss the red Sangria, it was fantastic.
Lovely restaurant. We had the squid, shrimp, sardines, chicken skewers and chorizo! Couldn’t recommend enough. It may be small but definitely worth a visit - food is great!
Amazingly yummy!
After a long walk from our hotel at Avenida da Liberdade, aunt and uncle (restaurant owners- Spain) went berserk foraging for foodie house basing from review sites here in Lisbon, passing by colorful graffiti-ridden façades uphill - we arrived at last here in our destination with the help of aunt's tomtom. A vibrant nightlife in here!!!
What a cute place! High energy and hip crowd. We waited for 30 minutes more or less to get a space. Well...
* Alto Bairro Tapas is a cute eatery that caters to all sorts of diners. Since the space is small, the tables are narrow. But it's not a big problem at all.
* The menu selection is well defined and awesome. It is hard to decide between all of the great sounding options. We were a party of 5 and we ordered a mix of dishes and we requested to make the servings of each to come in 5 pieces so that each of us can have one. Incredibly, they catered to that and all of the dishes we ordered got high marks. Each of it is exquisite, but, you know, their solitary nature makes me querulous. Lol 😂 😂 Everyone really enjoyed each of the dishes and drinks. Isn't it amazing? 😉😉😉
* Dishes ... all stylishly served in a beautiful wooden cutting blocks like the one for the typical Portuguese wooden cheese boards and didn't wait long, just on time. Tapas way, huh😋😋😋!
* The waiter was really friendly, efficient and informative. He really made our dining experience worthwhile as we're speaking Spanglish, he's fluent as well. Incredibly honed skills!
* Pricing is not to be curious of...if I will reckon for the food quality, restaurant setting and enthralling way of the wait staff.
Alto Bairro Tapas is providing a simple yet tasteful affair for their guests ❤️. Highly recommended for tourist/s and or for comebackers in this beautiful city!!!

Vale a pena
