Best restaurant serving authentic Portuguese food in Lisbon! We wanted to order açorda de camarão no pao but was too full. However, the waitress still insisted to give us a small portion to try and she refused to charge us. Highly recommended as this restaurant is truly want their customers to enjoy their food. Nice and friendly waitress and waiter emphasizing on customer satisfaction. Definitely recommended, even by the locals!!!
Found this restaurant on trip advisor and was not disappointed. The restaurant was a 15 minute walk from our hotel, located on a side street off the beaten path. When we arrived the restaurant was almost empty and within 30 minutes just about every table was filled. Watching the owner(presumably)and the waitress juggle the many tables, answer the phone, and greet people as they came in to inquire about a table, was awe inspiring, like watching a well, oiled machine. On the table was fresh bread and black olives. A few minutes later we were given a wonderful mixture of scrambled egg and sausage to enjoy with the bread. We ordered a bottle of white wine not knowing anything about Portuguese wine, we were served a bottle of Marquês de Borra, a delicious, light wine. I had read in another review about the bread with cheese and honey on the menu so we ordered that as well. Honey and cheese, who knew it would be so yummy. My husband ordered a steak with a coffee sauce, I had sea bass and our daughter had a pork dish. All 3 were served quickly and were excellent choices. We didn’t order dessert because we didn’t have any room after all the food however the owner, between taking orders, gave us each a glass of dessert port wine. The whole experience was enjoyable and we look forward to our next visit. (Tomorrow night before we head home)
Impecável. Serviço espetacular. Pessoas simpáticas e atenciosas. Preços assessiveis. Vou certamente regressar.
