Restaurante Augusto is the best restaurant ever and a dining experience not to be missed if you visit Albufeira. I ate here 4 times and each and every meal was perfect. The chicken in pepper sauce is my personal favourite with the sea bass and grilled salmon a close second. Very generous portions with a choice of chips, boiled potatoes, sautéed potatoes or rice to accompany, along with fresh vegetables. I was spoilt for choice with the dessert menu but Augusto's peach melba and banana split made by him personally were an absolute treat. The restaurant itself is located away from the noisey strip with Forte do Vale and the KR lounge close by. Inside is very spacious with an outside dining area and a menu that offers something for everyone at extremely reasonable prices. There are a wide variety of starters on the menu too however I preferred to leave room for a dessert instead. I did see other guests with starters and they looked as delicious as the mains and desserts. Lovely atmosphere and a very warm welcome from Augusto - thank you. This restaurant is a must visit and I can't wait to go back for more delicious food.
