To say the food was great, to say the atmosphere was great, to say the location was great would be complete understatements!
I eat, I enjoy eating good food and I eat a lot of it, Mad does not disappoint! Whether it's appetizers, tapas, entrees, desserts, wine etc etc, fabulous on all accounts. Insanely fresh succulent seafood, decadent juicy meats, scrumptious desserts and who can forget the fantastic vegetables (yes I said veggies, even the veggies were fabulous).
The wine list is excellent.
The service is superb.
The "Two Spicy Mad Chefs" are incredible.
Mad is a can't miss!

We had an excellent lunch with the most amazing views. The best steak I have had in Portugal and the black linguine with clams was amazing. Slightly higher prices than normal but well worth it for the location and the chef's talents. All cooled with a jug of white sangria and homemade ice cream. Go visit. Enjoy.

Nous sommes arrivés à 14h passé et nous avons été super bien accueillis. J ai commandé des pâtes au saumon et mon mari moules frites, nous avons été servis rapidement et avec des produits de qualités. Un resto qui vaut vraiment le détour. Super accueil, bon produit, resto nickel, une superbe vue et personnel au top. Merci encore !

Realy a good place to eat and to drink and it's even better than last year. Good food as well seafood as well meats. Creative cuisine. My son Max loves it....
The food was as amazing as the view. Staff was really patient and helpful. You can tell everyone loves what they're doing and when the food hits the table, it shows. Will definately be back on my next trip to Portugal.
Spot top! Vista deslumbrante do vale furado, atendimento cuidado e simpatico, comida saborosa e super boa! As entradas, as ameijoas as melhoras da região e o chuleton nem falo...� e não esquecendo a decoração e os pormenores nas mesas...parabens!

Absolutely delightful staff, so friendly explained everything on the menu! Food was beautifully presented and tasty. Very small interior so would need to book if in winter - every table taken today - (day after Xmas).
