We just returned from a week in Portugal and the only thing I can’t stop thinking about is the delicious meal we had at Portaliano. I highly recommend the octopus with risotto! It’s worth another trip to Madeira just to visit Portaliano - this is a must for anyone looking for a good meal at an affordable price.

Wowwww we had an amazing experience and meal at Portaliano. We started off with the Bruschetta-really really delicious- bolo do caco bread topped with tomato, herbs and cheese and prawns cooked in garlic sauce. As a main I had Chicken Caneloni and my girlfriend had Octopus risotto - all of it was put together beautifully and absolutely delicious. The service was great too very helpful and friendly staff. We need more Portaliano's on the Island especially in the Ponta do Sol or Calheta areas. Keep up the good work guys�������
Went here yesterday with my partner, beautiful food in fact the best vegetable lasagna I have ever tasted, the Pizza was excellent too �
