A great little hole in the wall eatery, it is one of the few places that vegan foodies can go to in Campo de Ourique that has a totally vegan menu selection and was the first of its kind in this parish. Tourists that swear by this type of food should make a beeline to when they take the 28 Antique tram up into this area. It has a limited menu but everything is made on the spot from fresh organic ingredients by the friendly staff while music plays in the background. A turntable that spins vinyl is strategically placed in one corner. Organic coffee and homemade cakes are on offer too while snacks come in the form of wraps, salads, and couscous that will please vegan only eaters and vegetarians alike but ask about gluten-free options as they are available here too. All the dishes are scrumptious so even other types of eaters won’t miss out on flavor. I watched as a Tofu and Mushroom wrap was prepared in front of my eyes for a customer by the lovely owner. Craft beers and organic wine are on offer to quench your thirst as are non-alcoholic options in the guise of interesting teas plus the organic coffee is prepared in a vintage looking Italian espresso machine that tones in perfectly with the color of the decoration. Free WIFI inside and out is also a plus as is a selection of books on the outside tables. The ambiance created by the owner is light and eclectic and adds to the charm of the place. While it is not on the main drag of this parish this only adds to its charm as you will feel that you are part of the local community and well worth seeking it out vegan or not.
