Despite we didn't made a reservation we got the opportunity to eat in this charming restaurant in Alfama. For starters we ordered chorizo and cheese. The main course was stew of porc and gamba's served with rice and baked potatoes. We asked the owner's advise for a matching bottle of wine and ended with a delicious dessert: creme brulee and cheese pie with cherry. Last but not least we got a drink from the house. All food was from great quality and differs a lot from the restaurants in the city. I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance.

Wonderful food, excellent service. Everything was top-notch from the chorizo to the ginjinha! I highly recommend the seafood cataplana.
