Calhou is such a lovely place. The food is excellent, and you get the feeling that you are experiencing something truly Portuguese. The staff also couldn't be more friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend Calhou.

Varannan lördagsafton fylls den lilla gemytliga restauranglokalen av vemodiga fadotoner framförda av skickliga artister. Har man som besökare i Lagos turen att vara i staden en sådan lördag, är Calhou ett självklart alternativ. God musik, proffesionellt bemötande och god portugisisk mat.

A really nice restaurant! Very friendly owners and servants! On request, they made us a Caldeirada and tasted really good! We ate there a second time and ate a Cateplana, the clams, steaks, mousse chocolate and the algarvian almond tarte! Wonderful restaurant!
