Just got home after a fantastic week in Madeira, and would like to thank Elio and the staff at the Taberna Madeira, for a making our stay in Madeira even better. Such a fantastic place in the heart of Funchal, good food, excellent service, nice casual atmosphere, and all of that for a good price. Our absolute best recommendation. Do not miss this fabulous local restaurant.
The value of food and what it originally tastes like as the concept of cooking. It's eating at a restaurant where quality is perceived to be the most important design concept - pure. Unlimited recommendation for people who like authentic kitchen and really good taste. An especially remarkable waitress even made service an incredibly positive experience.
Went there on a walking food tour- then Booked a table for the following night. Lovely genuine people who really care about what they do. The restaurant looks great and the food is just out of this world (Particularly the scabbard in tempura)
