A friendly welcome from Sonia and Pedro and their team was a lovely start to a really great evening. The choice of food on their menu was really good and it doesn't disappoint when it appears before you. I had the fish kebab which was really tasty, squid, tuna, salmon and prawns! Little succulent bites of fish which were all delicious. My friend had the steak which he said was tender and also delicious. Looking at folk next to us I think the Catalaplana could be a special treat for another meal. If you have room for a dessert then they are also good. If you want a lovely meal served to you by lovely folks then you should go and find out for yourself. A tip we arrived at 7pm and found a table easily if you come a bit later then to guarantee a table itv maybe good to make a reservation especially if you are in a large group.
Excellent food,service and price, nothing is too much trouble for Pedro and his staff and they make a great effort to ensure you have a great visit. Highly recommend this restaurant.
We found this hidden gem and wished we had done so earlier as it was 2 minutes walking distance from our villa and we had the best meals of our holiday there. Pedro, Sonia and their team are so friendly and helpful and the menu is varied but always cooked freshly to order! We were made to feel very special and like part of the family! Im Cozinha da Avó waren wir während unseres Urlaubes gleich zweimal zum Essen, da uns das Essen so gut geschmeckt hat, und das Team so herzlich, zuvorkommend und sehr nett war. Die Karte ist abwechslungsreich, die Speisen alle frisch zubereitet, der Hauswein sehr zu empfehlen, für jeden was dabei und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar gut. Wir kommen wieder!

Foi uma estreia que me agradou muito. Almoço muito bom. As sardinhas e as batatinhas estavam óptimas e a salada típica uma delicia. Ambiente acolhedor e simpático. Recomendo.
