What a great find! We had dinner for 6 people, the food was fantastic at very reasonable prices. There’s a children’s menu for the kids with substantial portions.
There’s a good choice of wines and the owner helped us to select a white wine to pair with the fish. Ah yes..the fish, fresh and tasty.
However, aside from the delicious food, what really makes this place great is the owner and staff who are warm, welcoming with a great sense of humour!
We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant.
Lovely place with a great choice of food. Reasonably priced and the Owner is very entertaining! Had a lovely evening meal on our last night and asked if we could return for lunch the following day before we head off. The restaurant wasn't open for business but he went out of his way to make sure we ate a good meal before we left. I would highly recommend this place and when we return to Carveiro we will make a point of visiting again.
Went to this amazing restaurant tonight with the family, the staff are sweet as and the food is amazing and very reasonable as well.
I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area as it's a real gem!!
Lovely restaurant, very friendly staff and delicious food. Thoroughly recommend and even has lovely two play parks for children. Will hopefully be back before we leave.

Wonderful welcome from Fernando and Joao at Vale de Milho restaurant. Food is excellent especially the couvert which just keeps coming! Great for families with a good children's menu and plenty of high chairs. I can't rate the restaurant highly enough!
